These words were written and adopted by the Congress of the United States over 200 years ago. And yet, still today, there are citizens in this country who are denied the unalienable right of happiness because of their sexual orientation. Until ALL citizens are treated equally, can we truly say we are Independent?

    i believe who are in titled to the right of the one who is in America and that if the person want o become a citizen they need to pay the tax and fee they can become a citizen with no exception

  8. Just remember with all that’s wrong with our county how great we still have it compared to so many others in the world. Remember to be grateful for all that we have and remember from where we came so as to never go backwards and only move forward.

  9. When I was in middle and high school I refused to say the pledge because even back then I did not feel as if everyone was treated equal and refused to say they were. My teachers and I had many talks about it.

    I believe everyone deserves to be Openly Happy in Life, to be with the Person who Loves & Completes Them, without having to be subjected to the ignorance of some close-minded people. True Love does not see Race, Gender, Socio-Economic Status, etc….if people understood that, there would be so much more Happiness in this World!

    In my opinion, eReaders have done wonders in helping to “open” many of those “close-minded” people. Authors have been such a Great Asset in reaching out & helping people experience & accept GLBTQ rights with your Wonderfully Romantic, Loving, Emotional Writing…& of course Erotic & Sensual 😉 …making it more likely for them to be accepting, understanding & comfortable regardless of someone’s sexual orientation….We Could Hope, Right???
